Linn Freedman

• Partner and chair of the Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice at Robinson & Cole LLP (Robinson+Cole)
• Practices in data privacy and security law, cybersecurity, and complex litigation
• Provides guidance on data privacy and cybersecurity compliance to a full range of public and private clients across all industries, such as construction, education, health care, insurance, manufacturing, real estate, utilities and critical infrastructure, marine, and charitable organizations
• Regularly delivers presentations around the country on data privacy and cybersecurity, and has most recently provided programming for the IRS Nationwide Tax Forum, the Legal Nurse Consultant Summit, all five Massachusetts Homeland Security regions, and the Greater Boston Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, among many others
• An adjunct professor of the practice of cybersecurity at Brown University and an adjunct professor of law at Roger Williams University School of Law
• Writes extensively on data privacy and cybersecurity topics, including for Robinson+Cole’s Data Privacy + Security Insider and Health Law Diagnosis blogs
