Biography:

Maribeth Bearfield is Bright Horizons' chief human resources officer (CHRO) at Bright Horizons Family Solutions. In her role, Bearfield is responsible for leading the organization's overall HR strategy including succession planning, talent acquisition, and talent development, organizational effectiveness, total rewards, and the Bright Horizons Foundation. With over 32,000 employees globally, Bright Horizons is the largest provider of employer-sponsored child care with over 1,100 child care and early education centers that serve over 116,000 children in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Canada, and India. As the CHRO of one of Fortune's top 100 Great Places to Work and also one of Fortune's Best Workplaces for Diversity, Bearfield is a frequent speaker on various HR and culture-related topics. 
 

Penny Ferrell serves as executive director of employee wellness and work-life Programs at Wellstar Health System, one of the largest and most integrated healthcare systems in Georgia. She oversees all corporate initiatives and team member wellness, fitness, and work-life programs. These include on-site daycares, backup care, tuition reimbursement, on-site concierge, employee assistance program (EAP), and Wellstar’s reward and recognition program. With COVID-19 changing the landscape for companies and how they support their team members, Ferrell, and her team completely revamped how they delivered team member wellness and work-life programs to more than 24,000 team members during the pandemic. As of result of her efforts, Wellstar is consistently recognized as an Employer of Choice and was recently selected as a Great Place to Work and Fortune honored Wellstar Health System as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For, Wellstar’s fourth time on this prestigious list of the best U.S. companies to work for.
